Precautions for Urine Analyzer Machine


  1. Calibration:  

    After installing a new instrument or after each major maintenance:  

    The urine analyzer should be calibrated to ensure it operates within the manufacturer's specified parameters. Urine analysis can only be performed after calibration is successful; otherwise, the instrument must be shut down.  

  2. Precautions  

    Keep the instrument clean to maintain optimal performance.  

    Ensure the use of clean sample cups.

    Use fresh, mixed urine samples. After collection, samples should be tested within 2 hours.

    Different types of urine analyzers use different urine test strips. When the test strips transition from refrigerated temperature to room temperature, do not open the cap of the bottle containing the test strips. After each use, immediately close the cap to prevent the test strips from becoming damp and deteriorating.

    The test strip should be immersed in the urine sample for 2 seconds. Excess urine on the test strip should be absorbed with filter paper. All reagent blocks, including the blank block, must be fully immersed in the urine.

    The optimal operating temperature for the instrument is 20°C to 25°C room temperature. Urine samples and test strips should also be maintained within this temperature range.

  1. Each urine analyzer should have its own operating procedure, which must be followed.

  3. Unused urine test strips that have been opened should be immediately returned to the bottle and the cap securely closed.
