Switch on the power, the polarized light beam radiatesto the polarizer filter. The operator is able to observe the distinctvisual fieldsthrough eyepiece. Put the glasssample tube into the measurement chamber, rotate the vernier knob until the visual fields appear the equal brightness. Read and record the measured values from the vernier scale, the measurement is completed.
