The NEP-01 Nephelometer is designed to measure the turbidity of microbial suspensions, with a
measurement range equivalent to McFarland standards from 0.0 to 4.0. This instrument can be used
to determine inoculum density for the MCS-X Microbial ID/AST System.
1. The collection accuracy in turbidity standard bottle test: MCF (McFarland turbidity units)
0.5 standard tube measurement error: ≤±0.1 MCF.
2. The collection repeatability in turbidity standard bottle test: MCF 0.8 standard tube measurement error: CV≤5%.
3. The measurement range is 0.0~4.0 MCF: linear correlation coefficient: R2≥0.95.
4. Transmittance stability: within 30min, the change of the detected value: ≤±0.1 MCF.
