Independent ventilation cage system (IVC) is suitable for the cultivation, reproduction, seed preservation and various short-term animal experiments of SPF-level experimental animals, especially for the breeding of immunodeficient animals and transgenic animals.
IVC independently supplies and exhausts air to each cage, which can achieve strict microbial control of the living space of experimental animals and prevent cross-infection between different cages. It also has the advantages of simple operation, energy saving and low equipment maintenance cost.
IVC consists of three parts: host, cage frame and cage box, and has components such as human-machine operating system, temperature and humidity monitoring system, pressure monitoring system, multi-stage filtration system, supply and exhaust system, etc.

Rat IVC Cage Box Feature:
The entire IVC cage box includes the cage box, LID cover, stainless steel mesh cover, drinking bottle etc. The huge mouse cage and the LID cover are sealed with silicone seal strips, which have good air tightness.
The silicone ventilation airbag is designed to be self-sealed. After the large cage box is separated from the cage frame, the air inlet and exhaust valves of the huge mouse cage can be automatically closed immediately.
There is a life window on the top of the cage cover, and there are silicone sealing grooves around the life window, covered with high-efficiency filter membranes to ensure the safety of experimental animals.
The water bottle insertion port of the huge mouse cage must be equipped with a stainless steel self-closing valve, and the valve can be closed immediately after the water bottle is pulled out.
