The 10-inch touchscreen displays the total number of slices, thickness, specimen retraction value, time, timing, temperature and other parameters.
It can set a dormant state, and the freezer temperature is automatically controlled between -1℃ and -9℃ after selection and can reach the sectioning temperature within 15 minutes after canceling.
Imported double compressor refrigeration to ensure the stability of the cooling temperature
It can defrost automatically
Equipped with rubberized instrument rack and waste box
Anti-adhesion tissue spreading device with specimen cooling temperature up to -50 °
Single heated glass door effectively prevent water mist condensation
360° locking function for handwheel positioning at any point
Similar to the standard slicer, the CryoSlicer is designed to support the slicing of tissue at low temperatures. In a cryoslicer, the blade and sample are located in an upright stationary freezer/chamber, while the wheels for rotating the sample holder are located externally.
For sectioning, the frozen OCT tissue block is placed on a metal plate and brought to a temperature of -20 to -30 degrees Celsius. Once this temperature is reached, the specimen is mounted on the slicer chuck and sectioned. The entire process from freeze-fixation to obtaining the section on a glass slide takes only 10 to 20 minutes, allowing for rapid sample analysis.
Cryostat sectioning has two major advantages over standard histologic slicer sectioning. First, the turnaround time from fixation to tissue sectioning is much shorter. Second, protein antigenicity is better preserved, making cryostat sections ideal for immunofluorescence staining of multiple proteins in the same tissue section.
