Scitek’s Ultrapure Water System has been shipped to Senegal. The customer selected the WP-UB30BS model (water production capacity: 30–35 L/H) based on their daily experimental water consumption. This unit features dual outlets (RO purified water + UP ultrapure water) and a built-in 3.2-gallon (12 L) pressure tank. Prior to shipment, the main unit, RO membranes, purification columns, pressure tank, inlet solenoid valve, low-pressure protection, and water line fittings were all inspected individually.
The customer selected the appropriate configuration based on the laboratory’s daily water requirements. The ultrapure water system treats the source water through pretreatment, reverse osmosis, and post-purification stages, while continuously monitoring the quality of the output water in real time.
Compared to purchasing and storing bottled ultrapure water, using an ultrapure water system in the laboratory allows for on-site water production based on actual needs. This significantly reduces the need to store and transport water for experiments and makes it easier to meet daily experimental water requirements.
This system provides two outlets: one for RO purified water and one for UP ultrapure water. At 25°C, the UP ultrapure water has a resistivity of up to 18.25 MΩ·cm, with heavy metal ion levels below 0.01 ppb and TOC below 30 ppb, making it suitable for laboratory applications with high water quality requirements.
The unit also features automatic flushing, low-water protection, and low-pressure protection. When the feed water supply is insufficient, the system enters standby mode to reduce the risk of abnormal operation.
Prior to shipment, the equipment is inspected and prepared in accordance with customer requirements. The reverse osmosis system, water pump, outlet, water quality monitoring system, and related accessories are all inspected; after confirming the equipment’s condition, it is packaged and shipped. This delivery was completed according to the following steps:
Appearance and Structural Inspection—The ABS injection-molded housing shows no dents or deformation, and the panel indicators (power, pump operation, low pressure, and flushing) light up one by one.
Inlet Water Condition Verification—Verify that the TDS, water pressure, and water temperature are within the permissible ranges based on the source water report provided by the customer.
Pretreatment Unit Inspection—Confirm that the two 1-micron deep-bed PP filter cartridges and the precision activated carbon filter cartridge are properly installed and free of leaks.
RO Unit Inspection — Verify installation of the original RO reverse osmosis membranes (U.S.-made) and record the conductivity of the first-stage purified water for archiving.
Purification Column Inspection — Install two sets of post-treatment purification columns and record the initial conductivity and resistivity of the output water.
Pressure Tank and Valve Inspection—Confirm the pre-charge pressure of the built-in 3.2G (12L) pressure tank; verify that the inlet solenoid valve and flush valve operate normally.
Power-On Test—Run continuously for ≥2 hours to verify that the 18.25 MΩ·cm purity standard is met, the 30-second automatic flush function is active, and the dual-channel online water quality monitoring readings are stable.
Verification of Protection Functions—The system automatically shuts down and triggers an alarm in the event of water supply interruption or low pressure, and automatically restarts once water supply is restored.
Inventory Check of Accessories and Consumables—The list of inlet adapters, tubing, and spare filter cartridges matches the packing list, and an English operating manual is included with the unit.
Laboratories looking for an ultrapure water system can select the appropriate model based on the quality of the source water, the laboratory’s daily water consumption, the required water output, and application requirements.
The equipment shipped to Senegal will be used for the preparation of pure and ultrapure water in laboratories, providing water support for experimental analysis, reagent preparation, and other routine experiments.
If you are looking for an ultrapure water system suitable for laboratories in Senegal or other African countries, Scitek can provide equipment configurations tailored to your water usage needs. Please send us your local source water test reports (TDS, hardness, water pressure), estimated daily water consumption, and the number of water intake points, and we will provide a configuration list and quote for the appropriate model based on this information.
