Following the delivery of several Photon Correlation DLS Nanoparticle Size and Zeta Potential Analyzers to a customer in Greece. We received feedback indicating that particle size measurement results obtained during initial testing were not consistent with their expected values.

Technical Evaluation

Upon receiving the feedback, Scitek’s technical support team promptly scheduled a remote technical meeting. They reviewed the customer’s testing procedures, sample preparation methods, and parameter settings. Based on the preliminary assessment, the measurement deviation may be related to factors such as the reference standard samples and testing conditions. At the same time, a comprehensive validation of the instrument’s performance was conducted.

To accurately identify the root cause, Scitek arranged to provide a set of certified reference materials for comparative testing (at no additional cost). The test results confirmed that the deviation stemmed from contamination in the customer’s samples.
