Scitek recently completed an on-site installation and operator training project for an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) in Mongolia. Our service engineer visited the customer's laboratory to perform equipment installation, system commissioning, performance verification, and hands-on operator training.
After arriving at the laboratory, the engineer carefully inspected the installation environment, confirmed the gas supply, electrical connections, ventilation system, and instrument configuration, and completed the installation according to Scitek's technical standards.
Following installation, the complete analytical system was calibrated and tested to verify stable performance before routine laboratory use.
Comprehensive Operational Training
To improve the customer's operational proficiency, the training focused on both theory and practical operation.
The engineer introduced the complete analytical workflow for cyanide determination, including:
Instrument configuration and parameter setup
Sample preparation recommendations
Calibration curve establishment
Standard solution measurement
Result verification
Daily operating precautions
The laboratory staff practiced each step under guidance until they were able to complete the analysis independently.
Special attention was given to flame analysis, covering:
Burner installation and alignment
Gas flow adjustment
Flame ignition and shutdown procedures
Optimization of analytical parameters
Routine sample measurement
Safety considerations during operation
Through practical demonstrations, operators became familiar with stable flame operation and methods for obtaining consistent analytical results.
Graphite Furnace Autosampler Installation and Training
The customer also required support for the RG-ZDJY01 Graphite Furnace Autosampler.
During the visit, the engineer completed:
Mechanical installation
Communication connection with the AAS system
Position calibration
Sample tray configuration
Software parameter setup
Automatic sampling verification
Operators then received hands-on training covering sample loading, sequence programming, automatic injection procedures, and routine maintenance, enabling them to efficiently perform graphite furnace analysis.
To ensure long-term analytical stability, Scitek also provided maintenance training for one of the most critical components—the nebulizer.
The engineer demonstrated:
Routine visual inspection
Proper cleaning procedures
Blockage identification
Daily maintenance recommendations
Preventive maintenance schedule
These practices help maintain atomization efficiency while reducing unexpected downtime.
In addition to equipment operation, the training included practical troubleshooting techniques, routine maintenance planning, and daily laboratory best practices. Operators were encouraged to perform practical exercises throughout the session and received immediate technical guidance whenever questions arose.
By the end of the training, the laboratory team was able to independently perform routine analyses and carry out essential maintenance procedures with confidence.
At Scitek, delivering equipment is only the beginning of our commitment. Our experienced service engineers provide professional installation, commissioning, operator training, preventive maintenance, and technical support to laboratories around the world.
Whether customers require assistance before installation or ongoing technical guidance after commissioning. Scitek remains committed to helping laboratories achieve reliable analytical performance and maximize the value of their investment.
